Global Threat Reduction Initiative (GTRI)

The Global Threat Reduction Initiative (GTRI) is an initiative the United States from 2004, with the aim of preventing nuclear and radioactive material from illigitimate aquisition.  It is mainly implemented in places where such material is used for both for military and civil purposes. Iceland supports the GTRI.
