Conventional weapons

Conventional weapons are other weapons than weapons of mass destruction (WMD), such as Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW), landmines (see APLC), cluster munitions (see CCM) and ammunition. Other conventions include the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). Preparations are ongoing for an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).
