Iceland Supports Humanitarian Assistance Caused by the Crisis in Libya

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Össur Skarphéðinsson, has announced that Iceland will contribute ISK 12 million to humanitarian assistance for people affected by the crisis in Libya. ISK 6 million will be channelled through the World Food Programme and ISK 6 million will be allocated to emergency assistance provided by the UN Refugee Agency.
