Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT)

The Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) bans nuclear explosions. It was adopted by the UN General Assembly on 10 September 1996 but has not entered into force because of non-ratification by eight specific states.

Iceland ratified the CTBT on 26 June 2000.
